The person who quotes it, does it

I'm based in Hanham, so my patch radiates from the east side of Bristol, and honesty about geography is cheaper than a wasted enquiry: if you're in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, or Bath and North East Somerset, I almost certainly cover you, and the further out you are, the more it makes sense to batch smaller jobs together or fold them into a bigger one. Minimum-visit pricing exists for exactly that reason and it's in every quote, never sprung afterwards.

East Bristol and South Gloucestershire

Home turf, no travel considerations at all: Hanham and Hanham Abbots, Kingswood, Longwell Green, Warmley and Cadbury Heath, Oldland Common and Bitton, St George and Redfield, Brislington, Fishponds, Downend and Staple Hill, Mangotsfield and Emersons Green, and Keynsham on the Bath road. If your street is between any two of those, so am I, regularly.

Areas covered, town by town

Bristol is home ground, and a little further out three more towns get a page of their own — Bath, Yate and Thornbury. I work in each regularly, and each page explains what the local housing stock means for the electrical work it needs.

The towns in detail

Bristol is home ground — Hanham is on its eastern edge, most of my week is spent inside the BS postcodes, and its page explains what each era of the city's housing means electrically. Bath, where the Georgian and listed stock makes electrical work its own discipline, and where I work regularly. Yate and Chipping Sodbury, whose 1960s and 70s estates are approaching the age where original boards and wiring come due at once. Thornbury and its villages, a mix of old market-town stock and new estates wanting extras rather than rescues. Each has its own page because each is genuinely different work.

Not listed?

Then ask anyway. The villages between the towns above, and anywhere else within reach of the A4 or the ring road: all reachable, all quoted honestly with any distance factored in up front. The postcode box on the enquiry form exists so the first reply you get already answers the question.

What customers say

My reviews live on Which? Trusted Traders, where every review is checked to confirm it came from a genuine customer. A few, in their own words:

★★★★★
Tony was really helpful, friendly and a professional service. Explained everything in a way I could understand. Left everything clean and tidy and a fantastic job done, at a great price.
Customer in Bath and North East Somerset, via Which? Trusted Traders, July 2026
★★★★★
Tony checked our electrics, which unfortunately turned out to be well past their sell by date, requiring a full rewiring of the house whilst we lived in the house! […] Communication and advice was great, and would recommend him highly.
